Unique- acid-labile (cannot go through GI tract)
Respiratory txmission (no fecal-oral like other pico viruses)
Can also be transmitted via fomites

Attaches to molecule- ICAM-1 (enters host cells)

Grows best at 33 deg C (cooler temps)- e.g. URI where air is cooler

A
Multiple serotypes ( over 100); no vaccine, because of the variation of serotypes
