A
NSAIDS at max dose until 1 - 2 days after the attack has resolved + PPI (Steroids if kidney disease)
Opiod analgesics
Colchicine

People with 2 or more attacks in a year
Joint damage
Renal impairment

A
Allopurinol
Febuxostat if contraindicated

A
A crystal arthropathy causing an acute arthritis but caused by calcium pyrophosphate crystals
