What is the difference between Reiter’s Syndrome and Septic Arthritis?
Reiter’s syndrome - Reactive arthritis - delayed response, usually three weeks after an infection in the body.
Septic Arthritis - Inflammatory response to an infection in a single joint.
What crystals are seen in Gout vs Pseudogout
Negative birefringent crystals (Rod shaped and needle) vs Positive birefringent crystals (rod-shaped with blunt ends).
If C3 and C4 are low, is that indicative of a controlled SLE?
NO - C3 and C4 are part of the immune system complement system. If it is low the disease is highly active.
