A

1774 delegates from 12-13 of the colonies met in Philadelphia to discuss the British laws and taxes. They ended up sending a letter and if they didn’t get the answer they wanted they would meet again in 1775 in may.

A

The Americans learned the British going to control the hills outside of Boston. Colonists built fortifications on top of Breed Hill. They had to back down because of an ammunition outage but overall they won.

Washington crossed 25/26 1776 last chance to win so they sneak attack on the hessian (Germans hired by britain) They were so suprised they surrendered.

Winter encampment 11,000 men women and children were part. sat at the top of platau with a good visual of the surrounding area. It was a harsh winter and many suffered from lack of supplies.

He came during the encampment and helped train soldiers.

Siege of Yorktown when where who?
Last major war. General Nathanaeel Greene lead southern army and pushed the british to the East coast. And british General Cornwallis was surrounded by french and cut off their supplies. Washington heard and headed to Yorktown where after 11 days they surrenedered.

I Treaty of Paris (last one) was?
signed in 1783 this ended the war after the siege of Yorktown and made british recognize the freedom of America.

Benjamin Franklin for the 13 colonies to come together but they didn't want to work with Native Americans.
