Things to think about for - Use of voice
6 things
1 - delivery clear? Purposely articulated or slurred?
2 - was there an accent or vocal characteristics and was it sustained ?
3 - was the voice sweet, harsh, abrupt and mannered or a combination
4 - was there an appropriate use of tone and/or inflection? (Rising of voice at end of sentence)
5 - in what way was the voice appropriate to the character?
6 - how was the voice used?
Things to think about for - Posture

1 - How did the actor stand?
2 - was there any emphasis on a particular body part - hunched shoulders, legs turned in, hands in pockets etc?
3 - how did the actor hold their head?
Things to think about for - Attitude
1 thing
1 - Did the actor have any specific stance or obvious associated physicality?
Things to think about for - Use of movement
10 things
1 - How did the actor use gesture and body language and was it effective?
2 - was the actors body at ease or was there some awkwardness?
3 - was the movement appropriate for the character?
4 - were there any outstanding or weak aspects to the actors movements?
5 - were there any mannerisms you might comment upon?
6 - how agile was the performance?
7 - how did the actor handle props?
8- How well did the actor use the performance space?
9- were there any particular features about the actors use of their body ?
10- How did the actor use movement or gesture to convey the subtext of the speech or the inner thoughts of the character?
Things to think about for - Actions and reactions

1 - what were the key actions performed by the actor?
2 - how did the actor react at certain moments in the scene?
Things to think about for - Interpretation
5 things
1 - how do you think the actor was approaching the role?
2 - what were they communicating about the role?
3 - how effective/convincing was this interpretation?
4 - how consistent was the interpretation?
5- were any props used which helped to convey the meaning of the scene?
Things to think about for - Relationships
3 things
1 - How did the actor relate to other characters on the stage?
2 - what kind of engagement was there with the other actors/ characters?
3 - how does/ did the actor relate to the audience?
Things to think about for - Performance qualities
2 things
1 - what made the production ‘watchable’ or ‘uncomfortable’?
2 - was the performance/acting style:
Believable, sensitive, powerful, flamboyant, underplayed, melodramatic, reflective? (Etc)
