<28 weeks (per RMT protocol)

Name 7 conditions under which delayed cord clamping should not be done (per RMT guidelines).
A
- Placental abruption/severe vaginal bleeding/vasaprevia/uterine rupture
- Tight true knot in umbilical cord/tight nuchal cord
- Suspected twin-twin transfusion syndrome (mono-mono, mono-di)
- Maternal resuscitation at delivery/perimortem circumstances
- Neonate a non-resuscitation candidate
- Clinical preference- if OB and Neonatology may discuss
- Other conditions with blood volume overload (e.g. hydrops, heart failure)

How much NS do you use to flush IV epi? How frequently is IV epi given during a code?
A
3 ml NS flush
Every 3-5 minutes if HR <60
