When (in terms of infant’s day of life) should you look for a hsPDA?
A
6 days of life or soon after that as infants who are on over 30% oxygen and intubated at 14 days of life with a hsPDA are at a higher risk of BPD
Also medical treatment is more effective if given before two weeks of life
