Restless leg syndrome
A
Restless legs syndrome (aka Wittmaack-Ekbom’s syndrome) is characterised by a strong urge to move in order to stop uncomfortable sensations. It mainly affects the legs but occasionally affects the arms and other places. It improves with activity and gets worse with rest. It is classically worse at night.
