Progress that meets the needs of the current population without compromising the ability of future generations to also meet their own needs.

Undernourishment/malnourished
When people do not eat enough nutrients to cover their needs for energy and growth, or to maintain a healthy immune system/life.
Unregulated
Not controlled or supervised by regulations or laws meaning over-abstraction can occur.
Waterborne Diseases
Illness caused by microscopic organisms, like viruses and bacteria, that are ingested through contaminated water.
Water Deficit
A lack of water which occurs due to demand being higher than supply.
Water Stress
When the demand for water exceeds the supply in a certain period, or when water quality restricts its use.
Water Surplus
When the supply of water is greater than demand for water.
Well-being
The combination of feeling good and functioning well; the experience of positive emotions such as happiness and contentment.
