A

The belief that life is determined by external/enviroment all factors such as ; ‘ Wrong place , wrong time !’

High internal activley seek out info which will help them personally and are less likely to rely on others.

A

he reanalysed Hollands findings using new techniques and found that those with a higher internal locus of control resisted pressures to obey, especially when thay felt manipulated by researcher.

A

Holland found no relationship between locus of control scores and obedience in variations of Milgrams studies.

However it can be argued that it is too simplistic of an explanation.

A

Milgrams varitaion studies founnd that situational factors like proximity to the victim and social support rom another disobedient person leads to a decrease in obedience. So this means that personality factors like LOC alone cannot explain why people resist social influence.
