Identify relevant studies to compute effect size
What are qualitative methods?
Uses the participant’s own descriptions of their experiences, their feelings and thoughts
What are the advantages of qualitative methods?
- Psychology can be hard to measure numerically
- Permit intensive and in-depth study of individuals and small groups
