Data reduced numbers and statistics
Define research topic. Review and formulate hypothesis. Collect and analyze data. Then draw conclusions
Qualitative research
Word based. Interpretive
Less structured. Research question doesn’t lead to numbers and statistics
Many variables to be studied

Iq tests
Validity
Accurately measured what it is supposed to measure
