Seminal vesicles
Also contributes some of the liquid that makes up semen. The fluid produced by the seminal vesicle contains proteins, enzymes, sugar, vitamin C and other substances. The sugar provides a source of energy for sperm cells.
Prostate gland
Secretes some of the liquid that is added to sperm cells to form semen. The fluid coin gains alkaline and many chemicals including enzymes. It has an important role which is to keep sperm alive once in females body.
Bladder
A muscular membranous sac in the abdomen which receives urine from the urine and stores it for erection
Urethra
The tube inside penis through which semen and urine leaves the male body.
Vas deferens
The tube through which sperm cells travel from testes to the penis
Semen
The male reproductive fluid that contains nutrients and sperm cells.
Testicle
Produce sperm cells
Epididymis
a highly convoluted duct behind the testis, along which sperm passes to the vas deferens.
Scrotum
Where the testes are located. Keeps the testes at a slightly lower temp than body temp.
Follicles
Sacs containing egg cells
Fallopian tube
Tiny tubes joining the ovaries to the uterus. Fertilisation occurs in one of these tubes
Fertilisation
Penetration of the ovum by a sperm
