what is Spermatogenesis
its the production of sperm
what is spermatogonia?
its sperm stem cells
what is spermiogenisis?
its the maturation of sperm into its final look
what is the head of the sperm?
its the nucleus, DNA, and enzymes which is what breaks into the egg.
what is the mid space of the sperm?
Mitochondria is stored here and this provides energy to the sperm for movement
What does the tail do for the sperm?
it helps with movement
what is oogenesis?
its egg production

its the egg stem cell

its a stem cell
what is primary oocyte
its the beginning follicle
what is the secondary oocyte
the ova or the egg
what do the tiny polar bodies become?
they become corpus luteum

what are the 3 accessory glands?
- seminal vesicle
- prostate gland
- bulbouethral gland
what do the accessory glands do
they all produce decrection to dilute, mature and protect the sperm
what does the seminal vessicle do?
provides nutrition and mobility
what does the prostate do?
it thins out the sperm for movement and adds critic acid for energy
what does the bulbouethral gland do?
it neutralizes acidic uthera and lubrication
what is the scrotum?
a flap (sac) that houses the testes
what does the scrotum do?
its a muscle that moves in order to maintain ideal temp.
what is the ideal temp for the scrotum?
3-5 degrees lower then body temp
