What is Ventilation
air in and out of the lungs
What is External respiration
Exchange of gases between the lungs and the blood
What is inhalation?
air that enters through the nose/mouth from the atmosphere.
What is exhalation?
air leaving through the nose/mouth
What is gas transport?
it’s how the blood and gases move through the body
What is internal espiration?
its the exchange of gases between the blood and the body cells
what is cellular respiration?
its how the oxygen is used within the cells
what is gas exchange?
Its how the oxygen gets into the blood and the CO2 gets out in the pulmonary capillaries
what is the nasal sinuses filled with?
Its an air-filled space

mucous membrane
