Q

implantation

A

After the egg is fertilised by a sperm in the fallopian it becomes a zygote.
It takes 6 days to travel into the uterus where it has by then grown into an embryo.
It implants into the wall of the uterus and takes about 9 months to develop into a fully formed baby.
