The sperm has a flagellum to move towards the egg. The head of a sperm cell is covered with an acrosome which release enzymes to digest the egg cell membrane

A

The cell membrane changes after fertilisation so only one sperm cell gets in. The cytoplasm has nutrients to support the development of the baby after fertilisation.

A

Semen is ejaculated into the vagina. The sperm cells travel through the oviduct to reach an egg. The sperm cell gets into the cell membrane; this is called fertilisation. The zygote divides and forms a ball of cells: the embryo
