What are the function of testis?
It is where sperm and testosterone is produced.
What is the epididymis?
It is a C shaped structure where the sperm mature. Once they mature they will travel to the vas deferens and joins the urethra by 2 glands.
Where does the sperm first develop?
The semiferous tubule
Where does sperm travel when men eject?
To the vas deferens through the spermatic cord.
What is the spermatic cord?
It carries the vas deferens, veins and arteries.
From the spermatic cord where does the sperm travel to?
Over the urinary bladder, to the ampulla, connecting to the seminal vesicle forming the ejeculatory duct.
What are the 3 parts of the root of the penis?
The bulb and the 2 lateral crus.
From the bulb of the penis what is the sperms pathway?
The corpus spongiosum, glans penis, and the crus become the corpora cavernosa.
What is the function of the uterus?
It is where fetal development occurs.
What are the parts of the uterus?
The fallopian tubes and cervix.
What kind of tube is the vagina made of?
A fibromuscular tube.
Where do the ovaries connect and what is their function?
The ovarian ligament, they produce estrogen and progesterone.
What is the external genitalia called and what forms them?
The vestibule, they form the labia minora/ side of the walls and the labia majora which is lateral.
What is the clitoris made of?
It is an erectal tissue.
What is the perineum?
It is a diamond shape area on the pubic floor.
