Discussion
Large part of writing that evaluates the study, links finding to background research, explains how findings can be used in everyday life and suggests possible future experiments
Appendix
This contains any example questionnaires, consent forms, raw data, calculations. Anything that is needed for evidence but doesn’t go in the body
Method
Section that is divided into parts, explains how the experiment was carried out
Inferential statistics
Goes in the results section, explains whether the results can be generalised or not
References
This is a list of all journal articles and books that have been mentions in the body of the report
Descriptive statistics
Goes in the results section, describes and characterises the findings
Abstract
Paragraph that goes at the start of the report and summarises the aims, method and findings
Design
Goes in the method section, states the research method, IV, DV, research, ethics and issues to do with validity and reliability
Results
Medium section of writing explaining what the experiment shows
Materials
Goes in the method section, outlines all of the items used in the experiment
Aims and hypothesis
Statements that outline the topic to be studied and snag the expectations are
Participants
Goes in the method section, states who is studied eg number, age, gender, ethnicity and who the experimenter are
