Q

Hypervolemic hyponatremia mc causes

A

Cirrhosis

Nephrotic

Cardiac failure

*these are edematous states- normally body actually has an excess of sodium and free water, but arterial baroreceptors perceive low volume, so stimulate ADH- so free water retention, causing hypervolemia but hyponatremia
