D short and long are cleaning cycles. D short is every 54hrs. If you miss the window for the short cycle, then you will be prompted to do the long cycle. Record time/cycle/machine number in log book. Uses CIP 200 to clean

Reliance DG dry germicide is the main high level disinfectant we use in the Steris EPS machine. 2 week life cycle. Date all containers when opening a sleeve.

Use red tubing with blue attachment to run an empty cycle. You may need to do this if the previous cycle failed to empty the Steris chemical.
