Pentax Scope Cleaning

Upper/lower gastroscopes and colonoscopies. Pedi and adult.

Check scope condition and securely attach cap.
Dry leak test for 2 min. Remove all valves and Articulate distal tip while testing.
Wet leak test. Check for bubbles while maneuvering scope distal tip.
Wash scope 3x with enzyme cleaner.
Brush all port/valves with pink brush 10 seconds each
Long brush with Pentax blue tip brush 2x or more is dirty. Suction christmas tree, then suction on handle, then working channel.
Connect to sink and purge for 2 min. Flush valves during the purge.
