When “whom” is used?
Whom is used to refer to a person/ people. This pronoun is only used as the object of a relative clause (sentença que adiciona informação a principal)
That
I visited the city that my friend had talked about.
Whe “that” is used?
That is used to refer a person/ thing /animal.
But to refer a person WHO, WHOM and WHOSE are better

When is possible omitting the pronoun?
It is possible to omit the relative pronoun/ adverb when they are object of on idenifying clause.
I visited the city (which) my friend had talked about.
I read the travel book (that) you recommended me.
