What is transference?

When the client unconsciously transfers to the nurse feelings formed toward a person from the past
What is countertransference?
Refers to the nurse’s behavioral and emotional response to the client
When the nurse responds back to the patient as if they were someone else
How is countertransference different from projection?
This is more affective (emotional) - between conscious and unconsciousness and can be brought to consciousness easily

Conclusion of the relationship
