Functions of BOB?
- Formal call to bar of persons seeking to become legal practitioners
- They issue call to bar certificate
- Prescribes conduct for the admission of persons into the legal profession
- Ensures compliance with the 3 dinning terms
- Attestation of the BOB form for law students

- The CJN

- POA of Court of Appeal
- Justices of Supreme court
- Justice of Court of Appeal
- Chief Judge of the High court of a state

What is the LPDC?
LEGAL PRACTITIONERS DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE

Functions of CLE?
- They issue qualifying certificates to persons
- Continuing legal education of legal practitioners in Nigeria.
- Prescribed conditions which a university must comply with for its products to be eligible for admission into the NLS
- Liases with the BOB for training of bar aspirants
Qualifications for SAN?
- 10 years post call
- Cases-20 contested cases of the HC, 5 of the CA & 4 of the SUPREME C
- Must have paid a non refundable processes fee of N1 million
- He must have no disciplinary case pending 2 months before commencing the exercise
- Good behavior
- Tax certificate of up to 3 years
- Paid practicing fees for at least 10 years
- Handled pro bono for at least 3 years
- There must be at least 5 full time junior legal practitioners
Functions of NJC?
- Recommend persons for the appointment as judicial officers
- Recommend persons for the removal as judicial officers
- To exercise disciplinary actions
- To collect, control & disburse monies relating to the judiciary
