Q

Diffuse reflection and what happens

A

Reflection on a rough surface. It forms reflected light scattering in all directions forming a distorted imagine of an object or none at all

Q

How does refraction work

A

The density of a material affects the speed a wave transmits through it: rhe denser the material the more slowly light travels through it. Glass is denser than air so a light ray passing into glass slows down and the ray meets at an angle to the normal so bends towards the normal
