A

They cover one issue rather than multiple issues and demand a yes/no answer rather than one to choose between candidate

A

1997 devolution of Scotland and wales (voted yes for change)
1988 Belfast agreement (voted yes for change)
2004 northeast regional assembly (no so retain status quo)
2011 alternative vote ( no so retain in the status quo)
2016 brexit (yes for change)
