Describe the major bone in the pelvis.
Ilium (OBS IL_I_UM not Il_E_UM). two wing shaped strucures surrounding the Sacralbones or the sacral vertebra. The supperior part of each of the Iliums are called the iliac crest.
Whats the name of the area of where the vertebra meets the Ilium?
R/L Sacroiliac joint.
Whats the name of the anterior portion of the bone in the pelvis
The R/L Pubic bone
Whats the name of the inferior portion of the bone in the pelvis
R/L Ischium
Whats the area called where the bones meet anteriorly
Pubic symphysis
Whats the name of the superior portion of the opening of the pelvis opening
Pelvis brim
Whats the name of the inferior portion of the spine (Tailbone)

Whats the name for the place where the femoral head is attached to the pelvis

Describe the Colon, and how it’s connected to the A/V system
The Colon starts after the Ilececal sphincter. the first portion is called the ascending colon and gets its A/V from the Right Colic A/V which connects to SMA/SMV. after the ascending collon comes the tranvese collon which gets supplied by the middle colic A/V which are connected to the SMA/SMV. then comes the Descending Colon which are supplied buy the L Colic A/V which connects to the IMA/IMV. at the end of the decending Colon comes the sigmoid colon which are supplied buy the Sigmoid A/V also from IMA/IMV.
Whats the portion after the Colon called
Rectum.
Describe the A/V in the Pelvis
Abdominal Aorta/IVC ->R/L Common iliac A/V->External iliac A/V and outside of the Obturator Foramen R/L Femoral A/V. The portion not split to external iliac A/V is the R/L internal iliac A/V which splitts up imediatly into small vessels, and supplies the pelvic organs.
