16
Q

Name a imaging technique that can show the Biliary tree

A

ERCP, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatogram.

17
Q

Describe the relation of the SMA/SMV

A

The SMA branches of posteriorly of the Head of the pancreas and comes out just inferiorly of the uncinate process, so does the SMV.

18
Q

Describe why the venous system is different in the abdomen compared to the rest of the body and what is it called.

A

All the venous blood collected in the abdomin are transported to the liver so that the liver can take care of all the nutrients collected from the processed food. this system is called the Portal venous system.

19
Q

What is a retriperitoneal organ

A

Its a organ placed fixated behind (retro) the Peritoneum in the abdomin.
