Is it most beneficial to begin sourcing efforts based on job description or job title?
Job description. Titles can vary across companies and limit your candidate pool. Searching based on keywords tied to specific responsibilities will open things in providing more options to review.
Why is a Spotlight call important?
Multiple reasons that include: getting to hear directly from a hiring manager in having them elaborate on their need, proactively sharing a candidate
What is the difference between using parentheses and quotations in a boolean search?
Parentheses are used to search for more than one keyword, separated by OR. Anything in the parentheses will be searched first.
Quotations are used to look for specific words and can be multiple. You will show more results when using parentheses if using OR in between keywords. When using quotations, you are looking for specific words or phrases, causing you to show fewer results.
What is the most important piece of information you can pull from an initial candidate screen?
Motivation, which will act as your road map in how to best frame a position you currently have in mind, or future positions to keep them pipelined on.
Why is it important to document everything in Bullhorn?
Candidate ownership guidelines specific to each division are directly tied to completed Pre-Screen dates. Quality stored information will also ensure you have a jumping off point in future candidate discussions for yourself or other team members.
