Official pardon for people who have been convicted of political offenses

Laws that apply only to African Americans. Things such as those without jobs are arrested and etc
What is segregation?
the separation of races
Who is a sharecropper?
Renter promises portion of crop to pay for things and renter locks sharecropper in a cycle of poverty
How does one impeach?
House of representatives choose wether or not to accuse then senate votes on wither to remove the president
What is the thirteenth amendment?
It abolishes slavery
What is the fourteenth amendment?
Grants citizenship to all americans, guarantees equal protection under law to all americans
What is the fifteenth amendment?
states cannot deny the right to vote based on color, race, or previous servitude
What is the Grandfather Clause?
Excused voter from literacy test if his father or grandfather had been eligible to vote

Laws that separate races

case that resulted in seperate but equal facilities for races
