- ACUTE (pain/yellow base/red halo/hirstory trauma/hels 7-10 days if cause eliminated)
- CHRONIC ULCER (little or no pai/yellow base/elevated margins - scar/history of trauma/delayed healing if irritated, especially tongue lesion/clinical appearance mimics carcinoma and infections ulcers)
