Place forearm of dominant hand on a table
Hand overhanging the edge
2nd person holds ruler vertically above the others hand
0cm between thumb and first finger
Drop ruler at random time
Catch ruler as quickly as possible
Record measurement on the ruler that is level with the top of the thumb
Repeat several times so a mean is calculated
