exaggerated vasomotor repsonse to cold emotional stress
80% idiopathic
20% due to another path - e.g SLE, Carpal Tunnel, TOS, RA

1) cold - white due to arterial spasm
2) blue = cyanotic
3) red = reactive hyperaemia - parasthesia
