A

The Texas Legislative Medal of Honor, the highest military decoration awarded to a member if the Texas Military Forces, is only awarded to federal or state military personnel who served in the Armed Forces of the State of Texas and who also received the medal of honor.

Posthumously approved on 19 August 2013 by Governor Rick Perry.
