A
Add the total number of recombinant offspring (normally the two lowest values) divided by the total number of offspring, multiply by 100 to get map distance

A
Haploid number is the number of types of chromosomes (ex. Human’s haploid number is 23)
Ploidy is how many of each type there are (humans are diploid bc we have two of each)
