Ralph was beginning toes the evil that came from within themselves ands frightened of stand what it could lead to.

He has an attractive appearance, which suggests that he is an attractive character too.
“Ralph wept for the end of innocence, the darkness man’s heart, and the fall through the air of the true, wise friend called Piggy. “
After seeing the evil that people were capable of and the dark side of human nature, Ralph’s innocence was lost.He wept for these things and of course for the loss of Piggy.
“Ralph was full of fright and apprehension and pride.”
He’s proud of his skills as a hunter and he’s scared of turning into Jack and he wants to impress.
“You kneel down,” said Ralph sideways, “and wait till I come back.”
This could be a representation of Piggy’s lowered status among the boys.
