Pushing the volume knob

Push the COM knob to select the correct radio

What does the power/volume/squelch knob do?
A
- Turns the unit on/off
- Increases or decreases volume by rotating the knob
-Disable automatic squelch(background noise control) by pulling the knob out and rotating it
(Push knob back in to return to automatic squelch)

A
Automatically by a photocell on the bezel of the display
