Additionally a stainless steel pipe from the equipment drain tank relief valve is routed through the cover plate and into the sump.

An alarm is lit in the control room and the radwaste control room.
What system supplies power to the radwaste sump pumps?
NHN
How does a loss do radioactive drains effect the plant?
Sumps would eventually overflow and there would be a radioactive spill
What happens to the RD system in the event of a LOCA?
Outside of contamination ISO valve will be closed from the control room to isolate flowpath from the ESF and non ESF sumps to the I radwaste building.
