What is a CAT III A approach?
A precision approach with no decision height OR a decision height lower than 100ft & an RVR of less than 700ft.
What is a CAT III B approach?
A precision approach with no decision height or with a decision height lower than 50ft & and RVR of less than 700ft.
What is a CAT III C approach?
A precision approach with no decision height and no RVR limitaitons.
Types of VASIS:
V1: 2-bar VASIS, EWH up to 10ft
V2: 2- bar VASIS, EWH up to 25ft
AV: AVASIS, abbreviated VASI system, EWH up to 10ft
Types of PAPI:
AP: Abbreviated PAPI, EWH up to 10ft
P1: PAPI, EWH up to 10ft
P2: PAPI, EWH up to 25ft
P3: PAPI, EWH up to 45ft
