Negatives- Not financially viable, won’t create energy security (may increase FF reliance), uncertainty as to how well works

E.g. UK want to store most carbon produced by Europe for next 250 years in north sea

The chemical energy from hydrogen can be converted into electricity

Positives- More efficient than petrol vehicles, energy provided to initially separate elements can be renewable

Negatives- Still requires energy to separate elements, hard to find cheap, easy hydrogen source

Positives- More environmentally safe than petrol cars

Negatives- More expensive than petrol cars, limited driving range before need to recharge
