Capitate and hamate
What direction and order do carpals ossify?
1 carpal/yr and COUNTERCLOCKWISE in anatomy. CLOCKWISE-for yrs in age
What is the last ossified carpal and how old?
Pisiform 12yo

1-8mo CRITOE ODDS

Micro avulsion at patella tendon insertion- 10-12yo. Also at calcaneus and navicular

- Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis 2. Legg Calve Perthes DZ 3. Juvenile Arthritis 4. Septic JT
What is a Salter Harris Type I with risk of AVN, seen in obese children 10-15 yo c/o hip and knee pain?
Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis- displaced epiphyseal plate. ATRAUMATIC
What is irregular flat and sclerotic seen in hip MC Boys age 4-9?
Legg Calve Perthes DZ: limp, hipping, often knee pain. Tell parents don’t ignore growing pains
