A: All good, ton of research to support safety/efficacy.
B: Animal studies show safety, but no well studied human data.
C: Animal studies show some adverse effects, but benefit may outweigh risk.
D: Some contraindications in humans, but benefit to mother may still outweigh risk.
X: Clear risk of adverse effects, do not take.
Folic acid recommendation for pregnant women
