What are other reasons children toe walk?

A
  1. cerebral palsy
    - delay in milestones, high muscle tone, hyper-reflexia
    - gait: legs scissoring, side to side, can’t change surfaces
  2. muscular dystrophy
    - positive gower’s sign
  3. autism and sensory processing disorders
    - due to altered sensory processing
    - difficuity doing everyday activities (e.g. cooking, brushing teeth)
  4. OTHER: tethered spinal cord!!, LLD, CMT

  1. tonic labyrinth (swim like) - 3-4 months
  2. spinal galant (down back and head goes to side) - 3-9 months
  3. STNR (cat and cow) - 9-11 months
  4. plantar reflex - under 2 toes go up, over 2 toes go down
