Quiz 2 sentences Flashcards
On the third day, I went to the ticket office to line up at five o’clock to buy a ticket for the train on the 10th. I didn’t expect that there were still so many people, and it was hard for me to arrive.
I asked: “Do you have a train ticket to Shanghai on the 10th?” “No.” I almost cried. It turned out that this period of time was the peak tourist season, and it was very difficult to buy tickets to Shanghai.
“Can’t we go to Shanghai? What should we do? What should we do?” I cried anxiously. The ticket sales lady looked at me sympathetically and said, “There is a ticket to Suzhou, do you want to buy it? You can go to Suzhou first, and then go to Shanghai.”
I replied helplessly: “Okay, I’ll buy it.” Hey, people always say, “There is heaven above, and Suzhou and Hangzhou below.” It seems that we have to go to “heaven” first, and then we can go to Shanghai.

Anyway, tickets are finally available. I happily called my friends and said triumphantly: “I have bought a train ticket for No. 10! You should prepare well!” The weather that day was extremely hot, and when I rode back to the dormitory, I was sweating all over my body.
