It is a letter that shows your interest in the university/college while
justifying why you are qualified at the same time.

It is a letter that shows your interest in the job while justifying why
you are qualified at the same time.

skills and experiences the applicant possesses

This is considered as the last
part of the letter

SIGNATURE AND SENDER’S
IDENTIFICATION
is a document commonly used in the hiring process. It includes
information about your background and qualifications and should communicate
the most important, relevant information about you to employers in a clear,
easy-to-read format.
RESUME
It informs the employers of the skills that you can bring to the company, how
qualified you are for the job. and it serves as a persuasive document.
FUNCTION
Consolidates skills and responsibilities by describing them in a
general way under headings that represent different areas of
expertise instead of job titles. It focuses on skills and not on job
titles.
FUNCTIONAL
It is listed in reverse chronological order, which includes company
and job title, dates of employment, responsibilities and
accomplishments.
REVERSE CHRONOLOGICAL
Contains both the features of the reverse chronological and
functional type.
