Isisceles triangles
Two side are the same length and the angles facing those sides are equal.
Equilateral triangles

All interior angles are 60
Right triangles
Contain a 90 angle
A2+b2=c2

Mean
Arithmetic mean, average
Number of terms*avg= sum of terms
Median
The median is the middle term when all the terms in the set are listed in sequential order. When there is an even number of terms in a set, the median is the average of the two middle terms.
The median is the middle term.
Mode
The mode of a set is simply the term that occurs most frequently.
Range
The range of a set is simply the difference between the greatest term and the least term.67-4=63
Standard deviation
It refers to how far apart the numbers in a set are from one another.
The closer the numbers are to each other, the smaller the standard deviation will be.
The more spread out the numbers are to each other , the smaller the standard deviation will be.
1. Calculate the aerage of the set
2. Determine the difference between each number and the avg
3. Square these differences
4. Add the results and divide by the number of terms to determine the average
5. Take the square root of the average
Probability
= number of desired outcomes/ number of possible outcomes
Hh, ht, th, tt 2 coinflips
Back solving strategy
Start with b or d first, if you test choice b and it turns out to be too large, then a is the correct answer. If b is too small, then test choice d.
If d is too large, then c is the correct answer. If d is too small, then e is correct.

Order matters

Combination. Order does not matter
10C3= 10!/(3!*(10-3)!)
Increase the standard deviation of a set of numbers
You must add a value that is more thanone standard deviation away from the mean(average).
Both to increase and decrease
