  • The male gaze theory is the way in which the visual art and literature pick the world and woman apart from a masculine point of you presenting women as objects of male pleasure
    The advert has jokes based on the man for example:
    -The man trying to resist the two women - this is something for other men to laugh at.
    -Man also appears to have a ‘halo’ above his head and he’s holding the chocolates, he is in control.
