Encourage continuous improvement but do not provide detailed guidance on how to achieve it.
Overview of ISO 25000
*ISO 25000: International standards for software product quality management and evaluation.
*Part of the ISO/IEC 25000 series, also known as the SQuaRE framework.
*Consists of multiple standards, including ISO/IEC 25010 and ISO/IEC 25040 to 25099.
*ISO/IEC 25010 defines eight main quality characteristics: Functionality, Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, Maintainability, Portability, Compatibility, and Security.
*ISO/IEC 25040 provides guidance on evaluating software product quality based on ISO/IEC 25010.
*Series includes standards tailored to different software domains and contexts.
