As a general rule, what are the steps for dealing with a non normal event?
A
• Fly the aircraft
• Cancel the warning
• Identify the emergency or non-normal
• Accomplish recall items from memory (if applicable)
• Read the checklist
• Do not hurry

Who calls for the NNC, and when do they call for it?
A
The PF calls for the checklist when:
• The flight path is under control
• The airplane is not in a critical phase of flight (such as takeoff or landing)
• All memory items are complete
